Nearly everything you can plug into the wall has a label that says how much electricity it uses.

Electrical equation: Amps X voltage = Wattage Available [All Voltage is 110-120 in US.] Amps X 120= Wattage available, so one outlet of 10amps x 120= 1200 watts available power. Add up the wattage of all electrical items to plug in and if it adds up to more than 1200 watts you must order additional electrical power. Most items require only 1 outlet.
